Guess My Number can be adapted to various abilities with little effort.
The basic rules remain the same. Attached are directions and game boards for use with various numbers.
Materials Needed:
Number of Players: 2
Basic Directions:
One player (the leader) thinks of a number between 1 and 25 and jots it down on a piece of paper. (For younger students can be a number up to 10.)
The other player tries to guess what the number is. The player who is guessing might ask, "Is it 14?" the leader must reply by saying, "It's more." or "It's less." The player who is guessing uses the markders and oves them in from either end of the board to 'frame the remaining choices. the leders makes tally marks on the scrappaper tokeep track of how many guesses have been made. The game is over when the number is guessed , and the players switch roles. Players try to gess the number in the fewest possible guesses.
See the attachments for games boards to make this game more or less challenging.
